Name of Cha-Cha Dance Figure

Can anyone give the name of a dance figure in American Cha-Cha? It's part of an amalgamation (pattern) called "Across the Back" (DVIDA Silver #9). My instructor said there was a name for this sequence of three steps, but he couldn't recall the name. It starts with the follower behind the leader, on his right side (am I allowed to say gentleman and lady?). His steps are L foot forward in front of his R foot, R foot side, L foot forward; the figure turns about 1/4 left. She does a grapevine from his R side toward his L side (as he was originally standing), curving to the right to end facing him in closed position (not sure if this part matters). My partner and I can do this figure without knowing the name, but it would make us happy to find out what it's called.
